Super producer Kevin Bond and noted Christian Jazz keyboardist Ben Tankard called Overfloe's sound "Siimply Amazing". They can best be discribed as a Jazz/Fusion/Gospel band whose stellar performance promises to wow any audience. Their talents have been used by many of music industry's greatest.

Biography

Overfloe, the Birmingham based jazz/fusion/gospel band has been established as on of the nation's premiere bands. Formed in October 2001, a group of seasoned musicians came together tohelp a local gospel artist and eventually formed this dynamic group.

Having released their first project O+ (O Positive) in 2003, Overfloe has had the opportunity to open for and perform with several notable national recording artists like Stellar Award Winners, Vickie Winans, Maurette Brown Clark, Byron Cage and Marvin Sapp. In addition, they have performed on the Bobby Jones New Artist Showcase. The release of their sophomore album "The Jericho Project", they opened for national gospel recording artists Deitrick and Demita Haddon.

In 2008, Overfloe signed to Audiostate 55 Entertainment, the record lable of world renown composer/arranger/conductor, Dr. Henry Panion III, who has composed and arranged for legendary Stevie Wonder, The Winans, and Gospel Goes Classical among many others.

With Rush Smith (lead guitar), Steven Myers (keys), DeLon Charley (saxophones), Mario Leonard (bass) and Dave Johnson (drums), Overfloe creates a sound that has been compared to some of the worlds greatest instrumentalist.
