Bio

2008-2010:

Donnie Cranmer and Chuck Bohne after leaving previous group, B.C.S. went through several auditions before finding Mark to fill the shoes of Bassist/Vocalist. He would bring the writing edge that Donnie always wanted, and the voice to determine the sound of what is Overload. One year later, Chuck was asked to leave the band due to personal problems and substance abuse. This left Donnie and Mark, who could fill the shoes of Chuck, and still have the drive and is young enough to grow with the ever-evolving three piece band Overload? The guys held a few auditions and Ryan Tomes, the first show with Ryan was booked through Terry Harper, a local promoter of few National acts, at Louisville's Headliners Music Hall. Then the second was at Hard Rock Cafe.

The 3rd show was "A Little Bit of Soul" Festival in Underwood Indiana, this is when the career of Overload would change for a short time. Donnie while walking on stage tripped on some cables that were not secured to the floor and he broke his arm and fractured the other, this was the worst possible timing for the incident because the day before, Overload recieved the news that they were to be playing at Willis Music's Unplugged Summer Acoustic Series. They also recieve the news they would be appearing with Exodus on the "Exhibit B: The Human Condition" Tour at Phoenix Hill Tavern in Louisville KY. The news of the breaking arm halted Overload until the Willis Music show and then, Ryan and they guys decided to part ways. They played the Exodus Show and the Milltown Festival as acoustic acts and as of November 2010 they have found a new lead guitarist by the name of Michael Ray Vaughn.

We are hungry and ready to stand up and take Louisville by storm, and then, THE WORLD!
