OUR VINYL VOWS BIO
The upbeat sensibility of Our Vinyl Vows has got listeners taking notice. From its inception in 2010, and with the band still reeling on the regional success of its independently released 'You Me and Einstein' (2011), the band has focused on bringing its brand of ska/pop/alt rock to live music fans through its live performances, collection of music videos, and hand to hand record and merchandise sales.
Our Vinyl Vows began to catch the ear of bay area radio station CBS Radio Alternative KITS (LIVE 105.3), garnering regular airplay and support from the station. In December of 2012, they were selected to join the Live 105's annual 'Not So Silent Night' concert, sharing the stage with acts such as Jack White and The Shins. The radio stations have begun to take notice of what local supporters have already known; that Our Vinyl Vows has the potential to become a Bay Area staple.
'The Sci-Five' will be Our Vinyl Vows sophomore effort, scheduled for an independent release on January XX of 2013. The band continues to carve its niche as an upbeat pop band, and its newest EP will be used to capture new fans with its catchy, memorable melodies. The band is scheduled for regional and statewide touring to support the release and continue its mark as a buzz worthy band. Our Vinyl Vows is now on the SF Bay Area's radar, and will use 2013 to expand the hype, and grow the brand.
