Bio
One Way Conversation was founded in Union City, NJ in 2005 by a group of school mates. Matt (guitar), Gregg (guitar), Nick (drums) and Melanie (vocals). They were all under 11 years old.
They were encouraged by everyone to perform at their school's talent show. They did and were a hit! As they continued to developed in 2005, Band member Gregg and his family moved away and exited the band. Matt, Nick and Melanie continued to work on developing their individual musical talents.
As the new Talent show for 2006 approached in June, it was expected that they would perform again. In early May, the 3 members decided to get together and do an acoustic version of Green Day's Good Riddance (time of your life).
By then, their confidence and talent had grown and it showed in their performance. Their name was also shortened to O.W.C.
Next, they went to the studio and recorded a demo of Good Riddance. A great experience for these talented young kids who have a great future ahead.
In 2007, 2 new members have joined the band. The new OWC is now Matt, Melanie, Nick and new comers Melissa Rodriguez( Melanie's sister) playing keyboard and Crystal Vilchez, who plays bass and violin.
