"BASK IN OWEN BONES' SEDUCTIVE NEW SINGLE [EXCLUSIVE]"

Music heads, listen up. Premiering exclusively on Milk is “Anywhere,” a new single by 22-year-old, Chicago-based producer Owen Bones, featuring Brooklyn-based singer Mothica (aka Mckenzie Ellis). That’s right, the mastermind behind “Stuntman,” who’s celebrated for his electronic/hip-hop/alternative beats, has blessed us with yet another fresh track. With undertones of Phantogram and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, “Anywhere” is a pretty versatile number, something you can listen to while getting ready to go out, while going hard on the dance floor, and then while trying to stay awake in your Uber ride home.

Blame it on the collaboration; a marriage of Bones’ incredible skills and Mothica’s raspy, seductive vocals, “Anywhere” is pretty unparalleled in an industry saturated with beats by self-proclaimed artists—and, while you’re waiting for Bones’ upcoming album, Dive Club, to drop on November 18th, it’s the perfect tune to whet your appetite. In addition to Mothica, Bones’ upcoming album features a slew of other talented artists including Tunji Ige, lil aaron, The Cool Kids, and Saba, and—we have a feeling—will not disappoint. Check out the young artist’s musical brilliance below. - Milk Media

"Owen Bones Enlists Tunji Ige and lil aaron for "Mach One""

Chicago-based producer Owen Bones resurfaced earlier this year with the delightful SURRENDER! EP, and now he's finally gearing up for the release of his debut full-length. Due for release in November, Owen's debut album Dive Club is set to feature appearances from The Cool Kids, Mothica, and Saba. To coincide with the announcement of the forthcoming album, Owen has delivered the lead single for the project, bringing along P&P favorites Tunji Ige and lil aaron.

With its propulsive, bouncy production, "Mach One" is one of the finest displays of Owen's production expertise yet. Tunji and aaron both step up to the task of matching the infectious energy of the instrumental and then some, delivering quotable lyrics and a hypnotic hook that lingers long after the song finishes. As a taste of what's to come from Dive Club, "Mach One" is immensely promising. The album is said to be a concept album about a diver, with Owen's Bianca Garcia-shot press pictures teasing as such above.

Listen to the premiere of "Mach One" below, and expect to hear more about Dive Club in the coming weeks. - Pigeons and Planes

"Premiere: Owen Bones Links Up With Mick Jenkins and Kevin Abstract on "Stuntman""

Chicago-based producer Owen Bones flexes his Rodex on "Stuntman," which features Kevin Abstract and fellow Chi-Town representative Mick Jenkins. Their chemistry on wax is undeniable as Owen laces Kevin and Mick with a bangin' backdrop that they absolutely rip.

"'Stuntman' was a test of my convictions - I wanted to make a rap song that read like a club record while speaking on issues that I find important...specifically, our obsession with consumption and materialism as a culture," Owen told us about the song via email. "I reached out to Kevin and Mick separately, told them about my idea, and they ran with it. I couldn't be any happier with the final result.” Check out "Stuntman" below, which is included on Owen's three-song SURRENDER! EP out today. - Complex
