My songs are all snapshots of who I am, I am from Oklahoma and proud to be so, my family fled the area called the Kerry Patch in St. Louis a predominantly Irish community and many were in the land rush, later some left the dust bowl, for California including one of my cousins named Woody Guthrie, there have been musicians, beggers, drunks and thieves, in my family but they are all a part of who I am, my Mother tought me kindness my Father is, and will always be my hero, my brother and sisters tought me patience and unconditional love, and I love them all
