Bio

Over the past six years, Owing Adam has been leading worship, performing at youth camps, festivals and benefit concerts while praising God and giving Him all the
glory and honor. Currently, we are perusing to release a new project in the winter of 2011. The most current project is “Owing Adam” (EP),” a five-song debut of the bands
newest songs. We continue to seek the heart of God in the production of our new project in an endeavor to be real and honest with our audience as God leads. We want our
audiences to know everyone has struggles, and fight daily with our flesh and with the enemy, the devil. Our desire is to encourage our audiences while offering truth of our
conditions and to come to terms that we need Jesus in every step of life. Jesus has complete control over life and this is to our benefit to accept as truth. As a group, Blake
Monroe, the bands lead singer, declares these thoughts mentioned to be the desires of the band

"It was great having Owing Adam at our 5th quarter. They truly played with heart and with Christ as the focus. they didn't come across as, "Hey look at us. Aren't we cool?" It was about worship and pointing people to Jesus. It was sweet!"

"This was the first time I've been able to see Owing Adam perform live and let me tell you, it won't be the last time! An atmosphere of worship was created in the chaos of a mall food court. The Spirit was moving! Great job!"

"I know these guys personally so you can take it or leave it at that, but if you think I'm just here to hype them you're wrong, because I might be one of their toughest critics as well. That said, I really love this album. And the strongest critique is that it leaves you wanting more. And having heard more of the repertoire then the few songs on this album I know they have a lot more to deliver. so my advice to anyone out there is to give this album a listen and then keep track of this band because this won't be the last you'll hear of them, or at last you will want to hear of them as well. One of my favorite things about this album is that each song is written in direct address to God making is easy to get connected and join in the praise, worship, or longing felt in each song. Not only are the songs well written, but the music is composed to match the mood of each song further pulling you in, without getting in the way of the true purpose of this album, letting go of ourselves and to connect with God. And. finally, on a personal note. If the quality music isn't enough for you listeners, then the character of the band should be. This band is a great group of guys, who have always been about the mission first and the career second. This album is their heart, and its beat is for God alone. I think we could all use a bit more of that in our lives. Thanks Owing Adam!"

Zac Wendland CD Baby Review

Owing Adam is taken form Romans 1:14, where Paul wrote, “ I am debtor both to the Greeks and to the Barbarians: both to the wise, and the unwise.” All men are sons of Adam, and as Christians, we owe them the opportunity to accept Christ by
communicating the precious gospel of Jesus Christ to them. God has lead us not only to share with our words day by day, but also through the language of music that He might
draw all men unto himself through the passion of a call to worship. Owing Adam also means that we owe Christ. In 1 Corinthians 15:21-22. Paul wrote, “For as in Adam all
die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Romans 8:12 states, “Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. This verse clearly says we are
debtors to Christ to live after the Spirit. Because Adam sinned, we are born sinners. Sin requires the penalty of death. Because Jesus Christ never sinned and yet died
(2 Corinthians 5:21), Christ took the penalty for our sins. The Bible teaches that Christ rose again on the third of His death conquering death forever for those who would believe in Him. We can partake of the eternal sacrifice that Christ made for us and His resurrection simply be believing, confessing our sins and turning from our sin to God. God not only forgives us but becomes our Father and our Friend. Romans 1:9-10,
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” If you have not confessed your sins to God, will you bow before Him today and with humility believe in Him asking Him to be your Savior while confessing that you are a
sinner to Him? He died for you. Owing Adams deep desire is to share the Gospel all over the World God created.
