Oxblood Orange

We feel our music is a future sound of vintage instrumentation. We use vintage keyboards with modern effects and approaches. Our influences range from romantic era composers to early jazz composers and bebop artists. We live for musicians like Gang Gang Dance, John Maus, Friends, Devo, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, Yeasayer, DAVID BOWIE< DAVID BOWIE, YACHT, Animal Collective, ARIEL PINK AND THE HAUNTED GRAFFITI, The Radio Dept. to name a few.
We have an extreme passion to play for free, play for fun, play for you. We met through an ad I had placed in various local record stores looking for musicians to help front my project. I received a call from a band looking for a syth player and I tried out. The drummer in that band became my best friend and percussionist. The rest of the musicians in my band are wonderful souls I met in music school in my fall Semester a couple of years ago. Together we all dream, awaken and relive.
