Oxcart "...paints soundscapes of funky psychedelic elements as inspired by Pink Floyd as Morphibe" - The Oregonian 10/15/04
"Like many musicians, Carey (Ben Carey, Oxcart bassist) is more comfortable letting hos instrument do the talking...there's also a slight Grateful Dead vibe in guitarist / vocalist Jason Baker's fretwork...On stage, (Oxcart) unfurls dreamy originals and trips out an occasional Led Zepplin cover..." - Idaho Statesman 12/9/05
" Sasquatch?, the debut album by Oxcart, is an atmospheric slice of space rock, with layers that are dense and detailed. On songs like 730 Days, they show a real skill in steeping their music in claustrophobic detachment, while cloaked within an intense sonic backdrop" - "Live and Local", Pabst Blue Ribbon feature, Willamette Week and Portland Mercury

Bio
We travel with a purple robot head and cosmonaut flight suits. Our live shows are always high energy and engaging, and we often use extra lights and projector backdrops etc...
Musically, Oxcart is a combination of atmospheric rock and funk styles with a combination of lyrical seriousness and humor that we feel audiences appreciate and find refreshing.
