Formerly one third of the cult 80's Liverpool band "The Icicle Works", alongside Ian McNab, Chris Layhe has a new band and a new sound. "Oyster" are an exciting live act drawing on a diverse range of influences that include blues, rock and country styles. New songs include the J Cougar Mellancamp inspired ' Man In A Hurry ' and backwoods blues of ' Lord It Ain't Easy. ' Recent appearances at festivals alongside such groups as The Blockheads and more intimate shows at The Cavern in Liverpool confirm the versatility and experience within the band members.
