Ozgur Pamukcu

Originally schooled in business administration, Ozgur began writing songs and producing demos of his songs many years ago. Finally, luck was with him when one of Turkey's most famous song-writers and novelists, Murathan Mungan, fell in love with one of Ozgur's songs (which Ozgur, himself, sang on the demo). Mungan brought the song to one of Turkey's most popular singing stars, Muslum Gurses, who recorded the song on his hit album, "Ask Tesadufleri Sever" ("Love Likes Coincidences") was arranged and composed by B.Ozan Yurdakul. Just a short time later, Ozgur was contacted by a film producer, and asked if the song could be included in the feature film, 'Pandora'nin Kutusu' (Pandora's Box,) which went on to win many film festival awards. The song, called "Dondur Yolumdan" (Turn Me 'Round,) was later turned into a music video starring Ozgur, produced by Ron Merk. Ozgur is currently co-writing one of the songs in the "Cocktails" pilot, "Won't You Let Me Love You," and will perform the song on the soundtrack.
