P. born and bred throughout New Jersey. He spent his younger chidhood years in the city of Newark. At the age of 10 he then moved to Irvington. At an early age he was drawn to and mezmorized by hip hop music. Influenced by some of his favorite artists such as Run DMC, Rakim, LL Cool J, Nas, Jay-Z, Scarface, Big Pun, Big L, Notorius B.I.G., Emenim, Tu Pac, Snoop Dogg, Red Man, Wu Tang etc....... P. started writing music at 13 years of age. Within six months he was recording songs. With no knowledge of song format or recording levels he recorded songs with two tape decks and a dynamic mic. Without any ambitions of a record deal he made songs purely just for the love of music. Learning by mistakes he started perfecting his craft. His name was created from his determination to do so, P. stands for Perfection. There is no limitations to his creativity or ability to express himself about everyday situations that the average person goes through. In his music, he actually says what most people are thinking but he puts it in an artistic form. With his unique style P. definitly shines brighter than the average hip hop artist.
