"in Cotonete"

What jumps to the ears is the lazy way in which references are mixed up and let to boil.(...) It is not in everyone's reach to play like cowboys without compromising traditions. In this record, Paco Hunter seems to do it. - Hélder Gomes

"in Mundo Universitário"

There are 20 reasons that grab our ears to an auditive piercing to be used in our home CD player, in the old diesel van, at a bar where we feel out of place, in weddings and even in gipsy funerals.
No.1 in Acapulco is not a record, No.1 in Acapulco is a Must! - Shampo Decapante

"in Publico"

The brothers Zé Nando Pimenta and PZ Pimenta are not unheard of. They have been behind some of the most unique music adventures that is being made in Portugal in the context of the Meifumado label. No. 1 in Acapulco is a fantasy, or a starting point for both in the company of some accomplices, that draws a warm and exotic universe with hints of country, folk, jazz, funk, bossa or rock, exposing similar doses of irony and authenticity. One can hear instrumental rotations at variable speeds, an undertoned voice (PZ Pimenta), a narcotic balance and a caliente atmosphere that sticks to the skin. - Vitor Belanciano

Bio

From this existential cry reproduced on the margins of Finnegans Wake, comes a promiscuous, amnesic cosmogony that manifests itself in the minimal filth of country grooves and various goods. Someone or something left behind Pensacola, and idling in Tishamingo dreams of Boca Ratons shadow.
Paco Hunter was created by two brothers: PZ Pimenta (PZ, Pplectro, The Zany Dislexic Band) and Z Nando Pimenta (Type, The Zany Dislexic Band).
