Bio

Pacto de Sangre (Blood Covenant) was born around 1996 in Puerto Rico, when Eliezer Robles (former director and 2nd guitar), after 2 drug overdoses, decided to do something to alert others about the risks of drug use, among other things. With help of his brothers Mizael (bass & growling voice/ now with Rivera Bomma) & Carlos (drums), Plenitud (the band’s first name) was born. Félix Guzmán was then added to the line up to do the main guitars and finally the former singer Luis Vila.

5 years later another band appeared with the same name so it was changed to Pacto de Sangre. Héctor García (METALOMAN) then enters to replace Luis Vila on vocals and add some high pitched "Dickinson-Tate-like" vocals to complete the final line up of the band.

Pacto de Sangre then received quite a bit of attention and opened some major concerts an the Island (Puerto Rico) with bands like Rob Rock, Bride, All That I Bleed & Rivera/Bomma among others. In September, 2002, the band released their first studio quality Demo/EP called Arrepiéntete with previews of the songs "De Verdad", "Arrepiéntete" & "Holy Ghost". Finally on December 2003 their full CD called "Alerta" came out selling over 1,000 copies locally in less than 5 months.

The upcoming second release, Days of Egypt, is in pre-production. We are expecting it to have more than 10 songs and will also feature a bonus live video. It will have a more defined Power Metal style, blended perfectly with Speed Metal/Thrash. Contrary to the first release that had much more variety in styles, this collection will be more focused. It will blend together all the styles in a very subtle and natural way, giving Pacto de Sangre a more unique signature to their sound. This new production will also have a lot more material in English. The band expects to get into the studio early on 2005 to record.

GOD IS GOOD!!
