Starting out in Dustin Puckett's bedroom, "Pain After August" formed their group as well as their sound. Pain After August, or mass referred to as "P.A.A.", has been playing multiple shows in the Ste. Genevieve area. The genre of this group has been labelled as one of pop-punk influences. Pain After August is all for obscurity, being "out of the norm", and complete creativity. Not many groups can say that their first show was in the presence of 700+ people, but P.A.A. can. This group is also set out from the rest by the chipper attitudes, the catchy choruses, and the lyrics that actually hold dear meaning to the members. This group is more of a brotherhood, a group of three friends that share a love of music, and spreading music.
