PKJ has quickly made its mark in the local market in Southwestern Ontario and is releasing its first CD "Life's Good". There are 11 tracks on the album with a wide range of style.
The most noticeable thing about PAINKILLER JANE is a hot female singer/guitarist with a great set of lungs and an even better attitude. It’s also easy to see that the two lead singers, Heather Klazinga and Mark Moran, have a common love for harmonies and have spent a great deal of time absorbing the inflections and nuances of each others voices and it comes through on "Life's Good". The two of them will occasionally bring the volume down with only an acoustic guitar and play any number of melodic songs live, that win over the crowd’s attention.
PAINKILLER JANE is easy to listen to, easy to look at, and fun. This is a band that truly loves to play, and it’s something that the audience can plainly see.
