Paladin Road

The nucleus of Paladin Road is Jon DeVore (vocals, guitar, banjitar) who began performing as a solo acoustic act in 2006 as an alternative to his previous melodic hardcore projects Anakin:Mechanic/Barnrazer, both based in Minneapolis, and since then has accrued an entire cast of talented players. Classically trained musicians Kari Hauck (cello, double bass), and Jeannette Kjos (clarinet), and Seth... McGuire (percussion) of the bands Malignant/Every Hour Wounds.
Paladin Road is an acoustic Americana band performing old-time dirty blues, lonely sea shanties, melancholic ragtime and sleazy doo wop. From the husky vocal melodies and brash guitar picking, to the dancing clarinet and floating cello, bolstered with steady bass and drum. Paladin Road will leave you feeling dirty under the fingernails yet slightly flushed.
