"Slick and shimmering pop"

With a sound ranging from melodic pop with snappy synth lines to hi-NRG disco guitar riffs รก la Chic, they have steadily built an audience of good-time people. Slick & shimmering pop - Evening Standard

"Much admired"

Hyperactive, much admired, pure pop - Time Out - London

"Classic chart music"

Their 80s-influenced pop is happy, vocals-driven confection of the purest kind, with Jackson Stubbs and Stephen Farrier proving they know how to put together classic chart music - musicomh.com

"Shimmering sound"

Shimmering sound. I'll be playing this over and over again - Amy Lame, BBC London Live

"A diamond in the dust"

The debut album from the hotly-tipped British Academy of Composers & Songwriters' best new writers, as you would expect, is packed top to tail with ear-friendly songs which range from quality chilled ballads to discofied groovers. Vocally, this album is immaculate with tracks like Kissing In Blue possessing backing vocals Brian Wilson would be proud of. In an age of moronic boy bands and faceless dance hits, Paleday shine like a diamond in the dust - TNT Magazine

"Smooth FM review"

If ABC were still around today, they'd be making music like these guys - except probably not as good. - Kevin Greening, Smooth FM (R.I.P)

"Fun and glorious"

A fabulous throwback to an era when music was quality fun and glorious - Raj Rudolph, Electroqueer.com

"Deep and dreamy"

Classic, melody infused...deep & dreamy...even stronger with an emotive male vocal - 4/5 - International DJ Magazine

"Stunningly performed, superbly produced"

Paleday are almost too retro to be pure pop but on the other hand they're also too pure pop to be retro. Playing the sort of music that just refuses to go away they bring you 'Love The Groove' - the clue is in the title folks!!

Splendidly over-the-top disco grooves and pretty-pop commerciality all done to an absolute turn - that's what this album is about. It won't let you sit still, you can't just stand still and you certainly won't be able to avoid that one foot tappin' thing that you'll probably hate yourself for. Paleday are an unashamedly slick popped-up outfit that typify the whole 70's/80's disco beats scene - incessant melodic grooves so polished that you could slip on their sheen, an undeniably sleek soulful vibe beautifully suited to that fancy-dress 70's party you're organising this year!! Pop-tastic songs with so much sugar content that yer teeth could drop out if you get so much of a sniff at 'em! Ok, you probably get the picture by now I guess. Paleday do the whole disco, singalongable, danceableto funked-up soulful chunes kinda thing - but boy, they do it well! This is real squeaky-clean stuff - mixed to the nth, produced to the hilt and targeted precisely at the 'core' market of glitter-ball movers and groovers both past and present (oh, and future!).

Seriously though, Paleday are quite obviously committed to the whole sleek-music thing that just won't go away - and why should it anyway? Disco grooves of this quality will always have their place regardless of popular trends. Paleday are just bringin' it all on to you right now - right here in '08 - you know you love it really!!

'Love the Groove' by Paleday is super-groove disco pop at its most serious and most effective. Stunningly performed and superbly produced, 'Love The Groove' hits the mark and gets the job done - wonderfully honest but beautifully handled 'Love the Groove' by Paleday is prime party produce - oh yeh!! - www.toxicpete.co.uk
