Palmetto Drive

Palmetto Drive is a young, up and coming, high-energy Country/Southern Rock band based out of the Alabama Gulf Coast.

While putting a modern twist to well known classic, 90's, modern country and southern rock songs, Palmetto Drive is led by local singer/songwriter/guitarist Tony-Ray Thompson while being backed by a group of premier musicians from the South Alabama region.

• Tony-Ray Thompson - Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar - "Born in Beaufort, SC but raised on the Florida/Alabama line. He made his start as a prominent guitarist for a number of local, gulf coast and national acts before branching out and adding 'Singer/Songwriter' to his act."

• Travis Patch - Drums/Percussion - "Born in New Orleans,LA Travis starting playing in churches at 10 years old and since then has played with numerous recording artist from Nashville to LA across the US as a live and session drummer."

• Garret Hall - Bass/Vocals - "Mobile, AL born and raised. Music has always been my number one passion. Honky tonks and biker bars were my high school classrooms.  Nephew to southern rock famed Jimmy Hall of Wet Willie. I learned so much from them, especially my uncle, Jack Hall, and his rythmic basslines. I include that in my story, not intended to be on a coattail- because it is a part of my journey as a musician." 
  

• Caleb Murphy - Guitar/Vocals - "19 years old, born in Montgomery Alabama. Caleb is the youngest member of the group. But don't let his age throw you off. He's been steadily growing on guitar for 5+ years now and playing live on the coast for about a year now. He grew up around music due to his father being a touring country act out of Nashville for 10 years."
