Pamela Novikoff

Pamela Novikoff

BandCountrySinger/Songwriter

Traditional country music is my. I enjoy singing and playing guitar to my originals. A singer/songwriter who is working with four collaborators at this time. It is addicting because I feel empty when I am not writing. I play gigs every chance I get.

Biography

My influences are Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells and many others.
My story is this: I grew up watching my Father play country music. I knew I wanted the same dream by age 11. I feel myself, when I am singing. Got serious in the songwriting field 5 years ago.

What You Should've Been Doin'

Written By: Pamela Novikoff & Gary Priest

What You Should've Been Doin'

(verse one)
What you should've been doin'
Is holdin' me real tight
What you should've been thinkin'
Is not to stay out all night
I don't think you have a clue and
I don't appreciate
What you might've been doin'
I'm not gonna wait

(Chorus)
Where you should've been is right here beside me
Lovin' me all night long
Instead of being out there, who knows where
While I'm here all alone
Did you figure it out, when it was 2 am
Were you with a girl, or one of your friends
It don't matter anyhow, You knew where I'd be
What you should've been doin'
Is lyin' here with me

(break)

(repeat Chorus)

(verse two)
What you should've been doin'
Is givin' me your heart
What you should've been feelin'
Is sad when we're a part
I don't think you have a clue and
Now all I have to say
What you might've been doin'
Has driven me away

What you might've been doin'
Has driven me away

A Little More Life

“A Little More Life”
Written by: M.B. Connally Sr. / Pamela Novikoff / Gary Priest

(One)
Haulin’ down the road, sittin’ high and feelin’ free
The picture everybody sees when they look at me
I just want to get on back to my own area code
Try to put a little more life back into my road

(Two)
The only place I really wanna go is home
Kiss and hug my pretty wife; I know she’s all-alone
Get off of these eighteen wheels; I don’t need to be told
How to get a little more life back into my road

(Chorus)
Flat tires, white lines and smokies
Needin’ rest and one more stogie
Just another stop to make till I unload
Tampa Bay, Valdosta Georgia
Via Tulsa ___Oklahoma
One more day to fit a little more life
Back in my road

(Three)
I’m not sure which route to take, but I see the signs
Rollin’ by at such a speed it almost makes me blind
My turn-off is up ahead and it’s straight and narrow
I’m gonna put a little more life back into my road

(Break)
(Bridge)
I wanna plop in my easy chair, stick my feet in the air
Smell the fried chicken cookin’ and I’m almost there

(Chorus)

(Tag)
I just want to get on back to my own area code
Try to put a little more life back into my road
