Bio
Panamericana is an All-Star rock band formed in Brazil with former members of some of the most important brazilian rock bands. There is a power-trio formed by Legião Urbana's guitarist Dado Villa-Lobos; Titãs former drummer Charles Gavin and Barão Vermelho's first bassist, Dé Palmeira. Singer is the famous brazilian crooner Toni Platão.
Tha band has the mission to bring near to brazilian people some of the rock songs making at Brazil's neighbour countries (countries that speaks Spanish), making in portuguese them our versions of some of the most important rock songs ever made it in those countries.
The band project it's divided in four steps:
1) South: Songs from Argentina and Uruguay. 2014-2015.
2) México and Central América. 2015-2016
3) Andinean Commnuity (Colombia, Chile and so on). 2017.
4) Spain and Portugal. 2018.
Order or priority could change at any time.
First record is expectet to 2014 first semester, with versions of songs from Fito Paez, Spinetta, Soda Stereo, Charly García, La vela puerca and No te va gustar, among others.
