""Top Three To See""

Panic Attack—Fans of good, strong guitar rock should not be afraid to attend one of Panic Attack’s shows. Not only will they get a good guitar show for their money; they’ll also see a band that is not afraid to take chances with their set. Singer/rhythm guitarist Lisa Huffman has no problem “rocking out” and belting out good songs over layers of distorted guitars and heavy drumbeats. Fans of Joan Jett and early Pat Benetar records will no doubt enjoy the feel of the heavier songs, which are well delivered by all four band members. In addition, the group is not afraid to attack the audience with a series of somber ballads with powerful lyrical content that draws the audience in. Though the ballads tend to deal with heavy topics but the result is quite good and Huffman delivers every song with ease, showing a natural stage presence and versatile vocal ability. I haven’t heard any of the band’s recordings, but my guess is the CD would be quite good and would hopefully contain a lyric sheet to get the full effect of the band. - PlaybackSTL

"*Panic Attack*"

"Looking and listening to Panic Attack is an A&R persons dream come true. They have short introductions to their songs; clear concise lyrics that everyone can relate to, and clean crisp beats and riffs. The lead singers voice almost reminds you of another rock stars, that being Janice Joplin. Yes, I am comparing a local St. Louis band to that of someone who made it big. Lisa's voice is mature and she has a sound that captures you."

"Laura Hamlett on PANIC ATTACK"

"This quartet blends hard-edged rock 'n' roll with jangly guitar pop a la' early REM, and the formula works for them. Scott is genuinely talented, and was firing off some pretty searing leads, but showed he could also play with restraint and melodic sensitivity. Vocalist Lisa Huffman sounds like a high energy blend of Natalie Merchant with a dash or two of Melissa Etheridge."

"My Turntable"

"Panic Attack is one group that is not only growing by leaps and bounds in their own music, but also helping open up St. Louis to a broad new music scene. Panic Attack's new alternative-rock sound is led by a singer who can wail like Courtney Love or haunt you like Natalie Merchant, and, odd as that may sound, it ends up being a great blend that is winning fans all over the St. Louis area."
- Sarah Brandt, St. Louis Magazine - St.Louis Magazine
