Panjabi Hit Squad is comprised of the successful DJ & Production team, Rav & Dee. The duo, creators and pioneers of the now world famous Desi Beats sound, have been present at the very forefront of the Urban Asian Music Scene since their formation. Their unique signature sound, which encompasses urban music mixed with eastern beats, has been instrumental in the mainstream uptake of Asian music.

Panjabi Hit Squad's success over the years has generated them multiple award nominations and wins, including MOBO Awards, Emma Awards and UK Asian Music Awards.

Panjabi Hit Squad's sought after DJ performances have electrified dance floors at some of the World's most talked about clubs, festivals, award parties and launch events.

Growing international demand for the duo has resulted in performances in Australia, Canada, Dubai, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago and the USA.

Panjabi Hit Squad have also performed for internationally recognised brand names at cultural events, promotional functions and community events. These include:

- Nike Freestyle Football & Basketball Competition held in Birmingham

- Multiple performances for Apple at their flagship store in London in support of the Regent Street Festival and City Showcase

- The MAC Cosmetics "Fashion Cares" show held at the Toronto Convention Centre

- The 28 Days of Bollywood event held by Selfridges in London

- Multiple performances for BAFTA (British Academy of Films & Television Arts)

Panjabi Hit Squad have also utilised their success to raise awareness for a number of charitable causes. Their support for the Prince's Trust has extended to performances at many events across the UK. Rav & Dee also provide an energetic live soundtrack at "Run To The Beat", an annual half marathon held in London by Nike, IMG International & City Showcase

In addition, the duo have also recently become ambassadors for the MS Society to raise awareness of Multiple Sclerosis amongst Asians.

In October 2012 Panjabi Hit Squad won the Best Club DJ award at the UK Asian Music Awards held at Wembley Arena.

On Radio?

Panjabi Hit Squad began their broadcasting careers with the Desi Beats Show on BBC 1Xtra. The show was an instant success and introduced the world to the infectious personalities of Rav & Dee. Their concoction of urban & Asian music sparked the interest of listeners all across the globe.

The dedicated pair now host the massively popular Saturday night show from 6pm 'til 9pm on BBC's Asian Network every week. The show enjoys a truly international listenership and features popular segments such as the Hit Squad House Party.

Panjabi Hit Squad can also be seen performing to huge crowds during the "Summer of Melas (festivals)" season hosted by the BBC.

Flying high with their music, Panjabi Hit Squad also host a mix show on the award winning ICE in-flight entertainment system for Emirates Airlines.

In The Studio

Panjabi Hit Squad's signature sound resonates on radio stations, in clubs, at parties, in cars and through headphones the world over. One of their most notable successes was the huge hit Hai Hai which was championed the late Sir John Peel.

The duo have produced and released 4 full studio albums to date, as well as 3 full studio albums for signed artists.

They've also worked with successful artists from all over the world. Panjabi Hit Squad have produced hits for the likes of Mariah Carey, Ashanti, Beenie Man, Christina Milian, Jay Sean, Raghav and many more. They're also the driving force behind UK born Hindi songstress Alyssia. Her songs "Deewana" & "Tera Pyar" have met with tremendous success, having each reached over 1 million video views on YouTube.

?In March 2012 Panjabi Hit Squad, released their long awaited new album "World Famous" which stormed the UK Asian Music chart. It soared to number 1 and also reached number 1 on the Apple iTunes World album charts. The album received critical acclaim and it's successful hit "Dil Mera" which features Bollywood's biggest singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan set a new height for collaborative projects in the industry.
