Bio
Panos was born in Greece in 1968.
He got his musical start at the age of 10, when he started learning accordion. In 1983-1984 he played accordion in several greek folk music groups. At the same time, he studied the piano in a music school along with music theory, and taught himself to play the guitar.
He started writing his first songs in 1986, and began working as a professional musician (pianist) in 1987. During this period, he continued studying counterpoint and harmony in Athens.
In 1991 he relocated to Hamburg Germany, where he continued his studies, while playing in several music groups, ranging from Greek folk (The Athenians) to hard rock (Châlice). With Châlice, he recorded and co-produced two albums, as a musician (keyboards, piano, accordion) and song writer. He has appeared on bills together with ASIA, Steve Lukather and Los Lobotomys, Alana Miles, among others.
He has participated in many music competitions, winning prizes in several. In 2007 he arranged and produced a CD of traditional European lullabies in Greece, for the label Acroasis.
In january 2010 his song ASTERI MOY (MY STAR( was included in the compilation "Going Back Home International: Volume 8"
