Papa Wemba starts in the group Zaïko Langa Langa at the ends of 60’s. Since, the singer has made a world tour, sold thousands of disks. As a real ambassador of African music, Papa Wemba collaborated with the bests : Youssou N’Dour, Ray Lema, Peter Gabriel, Manu Dibango, Koffi Olomidé, etc.
Again in Europe, Papa Wemba takes up with the sounds which made him love. His intact, heart-rending voice is still there. After seven years of time in the wilderness, its singing finds this peace of mind which had left her. He deploys his stamp glittering on compositions in the clean lines, surrounded with hardened musicians (Patrick Bebey, Yves N' Djock, etc.) and with prestigious guests (Richard Bona, Sekouba Bambino, etc.). A return on record, as in the stage which will mark its 40 years of career.
