The "Papa Woody Band" is surely a major contender in the new band category. This relatively new band consists of:
* "Pops" Blazier (Lead/bass Guitar/Vocals/Songwriter) whose talents have been compared to Eric Clapton on steroids & whose vocals range from John Fogerty, to Albert Collins & Buddy Guy.
* "Schroeder" Blazier (Keyboards) is an up and coming prodigy whose talents have been compared to "Pink Floyd" with a splash of "the Doors."
* "Animal" Blazier (Percussion/Vocals/Songwriter)whose name speaks for itself. "Animal" captures your mind with his wild, untamed style of primal rhythms, ragin rolls & destructive double-bass pedaling.
* "Mean Gene" (Lead Guitar/Vocals/Songwriter) adds his Black Sabbath & Metallica influences to the mixture.
* "G-Lo" (Vocals/Songwriter) is our "Wizard of Words." Music is truly his art!
Individually, these guys are talented but together, there is "MAGIC."
