Paper Chaser Committee

The term "super-group" is rarely spoken within the current Hip-Hop landscape.  Not since the days of the Hot Boys and the Dungeon Family has the rap world seen a super-group comparable in fire-power to PCC (Paper Chaser Committee).  Hailing from Palm Beach, Florida, jus one hour north of Miami, the Committee consists of Vandam Bodyslam, 5th Street Bree, Mic Check, and A.I. Stay Fly.  Friends since childhood, PCC officially formed while attending Palm Beach High School, where they soon developed a unique chemistry, creating a sonic portrait where the harsh realities of everyday life meets the energy of a block party.  Strongly influenced by 2Pac, Master P and vintage Cash Money Records, PCC initially formed around the then-already local favorite Vandam.  They soon began making waves around Palm Beach County as much for their music as they did for their sense of fashion, creating a unique fan-base amongst the local area teens who not only wanted to sound like them, but dress like them too.

Separating themselves from the rest of the music coming out of the South is PCC's uncanny ability to make incredibly catchy songs, whether for the club, radio or the streets.  With just a few self-distributed mixtapes under their collective belt, their songs Club Scene and For My Niggas have become local anthems and have helped develop a solid following in the South.  To date, their videos have generated 500k+ views on Youtube.  Their fans, also known as Team PCC, are a loyal and constantly growing family.  This ever-growing following has led them to being booked at high-profile events like the 2012 Diamond Awards, where they performed at the celebrity birthday bash for comedian Lil Duval.  In 2012, the group also had the honor of performing at the famed DJ Demp 15th Annual Celebrity Weekend one of Northern Floridas longest running music themed events (15 years and counting).

 While the term hustle has become a clich in Hip-Hop these days, PCC is the true embodiment of the word.  It's this kind of ambition that has taken them from the street corner to recording studio to center stage.  As time marches on, PCC continues to refine their hustle, taking them to new musical heights.
