Lyrics

The Clockbreaker

Written By: Paperback Tragedy & Will West; from the album Ba Bah Gooshe

hate me now
love me once before i die
i never meant to make you cry
don’t blame yourself
it’s not your fault im not around
I hope that you are sleeping sound

cause it’s been so long
and i've been gone
I knew you’d hate me before long
one million lies, one billion songs
of bitterness and selfishness

and time is killing me tonight
imagine holidays of beating on the clocks
you can’t come back
you won't come back to me

grab the chalk
draw your daddy in the dirt
only you can make it hurt
it’s been so long
every second tears a hole
I know you are getting old

cause it’s been so long
and i've been gone
I knew you’d hate me before long
one million lies, one billion songs
of bitterness and selfishness

and time is killing me tonight
imagine holidays of beating on the clocks
you can’t come back
you won't come back to me

Our most recent setlist includes:

The Clockbreaker
Scrapbook
Ifakiss Blood
Mr. Brown
Gravel Gurdy
Keep Your Change
RMS Regards
Simon Says
Clementine
Point of Thinking
Linoleum (NOFX cover)

Our typical set runs for about 30-45 minutes, but we have played for as little as 15-20 minutes and as long as 2 + hours before. We have a catalog long enough to cover several hours, and we are masterful at producing covers on the spot. In terms of covers, we tend to lean toward the punk and pop punk genres (NOFX, Lagwagon, The Offspring, Greenday), but we have covered a variety of songs including country (Johnny Cash) and R&B (Rihanna).
