Paper Soul - I like the band's name, first of all. They were M.I.B. - Men in black. They had good stage appearance, all dressed in black. I liked the songs, very creative.
This 4 piece edgy to hard rock band has talent. The band centers around the singer (Mike), he has good voice and the lyric can be heard. Mixing melodies to hard rock was a nice mixture. Cool riffs buy the lead guitarist(Rich) were a stand out. The drummer(Vince) was consistent and kept the rhythm all night.
Passionate songs displayed through music is what you'll see hear.

Paper Soul has been around in some form or another since late 2002. They've played many shows, had radio play and interviews, fell apart, got back up and are here to provide a truely original hard rock experience for their fans. It's current, and most talented, incarnation would be Mike (vocals) the founder of the band, Rich (guitars) the dynamic workhorse, whose playing inspired Mike to start the band in the first place. Next is Dave (bass),the newest member, brings a schooled perspective to the music along with alot of passion and Vince (drums), the backbone behind all the music. Together they create music that is an ecclectic collection of hard rock, metal, punk, idie and alernative influences. It will definitely strike an emotional chord with anyone within earshot.
