Formed in 2003, Parachute Penguin was the culimination of 3 dudes, a drumkit, a guitar, and a mini keyboard used as a bass guitar..Since then the band has evolved into: Steve on lead vocals, Matt on guitar and vocals, Jon on bass and backup vocals and Jeff on drums. Parachute Penguin has played venues such as: Red's, The Francis Winspear Centre, Klondike Days, HMV Stage, and the Stage 13 Rock festival in Camrose, Alberta to name a few... P.P.'s first studio work comes in the form of their self titled 5 track EP, released in January of 2008. The band is also set to make their first live TV appearance on April 30th as they are featured on the live show "HelpTV" hosted by Jenny Adams. They are also 1 of 3 Edmonton bands selected to play New Music West in Vancouver, BC.
Parachute Penguin....listened to by Ninja's and Snake Charmers alike.
