We’ll give you a par-uh-sid-ik wet dreem...

Paracidic Meme was formed by Andrew Spicer and Pete Moss in the autumn of 2006. They shared a love for music and decided to work as an acoustic duo, and in their success they sought to expand their sound. Sean Gratton was then introduced to lend his talents as a percussionist, utilizing his skills on the Dumbeck (hand drum). Having played a few shows, the trio realized their potential as a full electric act during the summer of 2007.

The group released their first EPCD, Music You Can Eat To, in January of 2008. They have been interviewed live on CFMU radio several times, and have received several write-ups in the VIEW Magazine. The CD was recorded in association with the non-profit record company, Millionth Monkey Music.

Pete Moss left the band in April 2008, and Andrew and Sean adapted their skills to form a new sound. They are now indie trip-rock, inspired by the same trip-hop influences of Radiohead, and do the work of four men, thereby creating a loud, interesting sound with only two members. They are currently in the process of recording their next EPCD.
