Bio

Born from an original and eccentric imaginary, Paradise combines loud music, heavy riffs, and Polynesian pop art to deliver us an intense sound backed up by explosive visuals. They are the very first band to record volcanic rock.

The story begins in Montreal during the heat waves of summer 2002. Jet Phil (guitars) and Frank Kelly (vocals and guitars) both playing the rock scene with their respective band, are enjoying strawberry daiquiris when they suddenly discover a common unyielding passion for pop Tiki art. No longer than a few power riffs later, Paradise takes shape.

With cascading aspirations, in only six weeks, they deliver Paradise's first album composed of nine muscular songs named after Hawaiian drinks. The band benefited from the help of notorious musicians such as : Michel “Away” Langevin (Voivod), Mike Plant (Sword, Too Many Cooks) , Xavier Caféïne and Richard Eusanio. The mix and mastering were done in New-York city by Glen Robinson.

If you wish to fully experience the volcanic music of the Rock Anthropologists on the Kon Tiki Voyage (name of their first release) put it on, play it loud and get wasted on tropical drinks.

Watch out for those fuzzy dices and tiki nodders as they drive their customized Hot Rod machine full speed ahead, crushing everything in their path.

Don` t miss the trip !!
