Take This Cup

Written By: Jeffrey O'Blenis

TAKE THIS CUP Words & music by: Jeffrey O’Blenis

Take this bread
It is for you
My body soon will bear the guilt that God will pass from you
Oh, Oh, Oh, take this bread

Take this cup
It is for you
This cup is the new covenant My blood poured out for you
Oh, Oh, Oh, take this cup

I am the Living Bread
My blood real drink
Whoever eats and drinks of Me
He will never die

Take this cup
It is for you
Do this; remember Me, until I come for you
Oh, Oh, Oh, take this cup. Take this Cup

Behold The Lamb

Written By: Jeffrey Brent O'Blenis

It was nighttime, the right time, but no place to stay
For Mary would soon have a Son
In a manger so lowly, the Savior was born
And finally the battle begun

Behold the Lamb of God
Behold the Lamb of God
Behold the Lamb of God
He’s taken my sin all away

In the fields there were shepherds tending their sheep
When angels told them the news
So they ran into town and they found where He lay
They bowed to the King of the Jews

Behold the Lamb of God
Behold the Lamb of God
Behold the Lamb of God
He’s taken my sin all away

On the top of Golgotha He laid down His life
He cried out to God “it is done”
But the grave could not hold Him, the stone rolled away
And finally the battle was won

Behold the Lamb of God
Behold the Lamb of God
Behold the Lamb of God
He’s taken my sin all away

Here He Comes

Written By: Jeffrey O'Blenis

Here He comes, see the crowd
Hear the noise, they’re so loud
Lazarus and the beggar man
He had healed all that came to Him
To the dead He gave life
To the blind He gave sight
See the lame He made walk
Hear the dumb He made talk
In the crowd there were Pharisees
Teacher tell them all to hold their peace
If this crowd could refrain the stones would cry out His name.

Blessed is the King of Israel; blessed is the Name of the Lord.
Blessed is He who comes to us, He who comes in the Name of the Lord.

Here He comes down the hill
What a crowd, what a thrill
On a Colt, bringing peace
And His kingdom will never cease
Lay their coats on the ground
Make His path smooth and sound
Hear them cry, “David’s Son”
“Your the King, Your the One”
Jesus said to the Pharisees
“I can’t tell them to hold their peace”
“If this crowd could refrain the stones would cry out My Name”

Blessed is the King of Israel; blessed is the Name of the Lord.
Blessed is He who comes to us, He who comes in the Name of the Lord.

No Way

Written By: Jeffrey O'Blenis

There is no hope only doom
There is no hope, I’ve been there, I’ve seen the tomb
There is no hope only gloom
Four days have passed since he lay in the tomb
There is no hope. I said there’s no hope

They all call Him “the Healer”
Little children, they all flock to His side
They say He cast out their demons
The deaf, dumb, blind now hear, speak and see with their eyes

But there’s no chance, it’s all wrong
There is no chance to heal him, hope is all gone
There is no chance; it’s been too long
If Jesus had been here he might now be strong
There is no chance. I said there’s no chance

They all say that He loved him
Jesus wept as He came to the grave
“Move the stone back,” He told them
And now He called in a loud voice, “come out and be saved”

There is no way he’s alive
There is no way he’ll come back, I saw him die
But I see him with my own eyes
The grave clothes still bind him he’s wrapped up inside
“Take those rags off and let him go”
It’s hard to describe but my faith sure did grow
How he did it I don’t know
There is no way to tell you but it happened just so
There was no way

Crucify Him

Written By: Jeffrey O'Blenis

I see the coming darkness breaking through the light
I see the cross on the hillside, a terrible sight
I hear the crowd going crazy, they scream for His head
“His blood on us and our children. We want Him dead”

Crucify Him
Crucify Him
Hear the crowd cry
Crucify Him

I see the thorns on His forehead, blood running down
I see the sign up above Him. They gave Him a crown
I hear the crowd as they mock Him, “come down if You can”
I hear Him pray to the Father “forgive all of them”

Crucify Him
Crucify Him
Hear the crowd cry
Crucify Him

See His mother standing by
Tender caring in His eye
“Here’s your mother, here is your son. He’s the one”

I see the soldiers gamble, cast lots for His clothes
I see Him bow His head and give up the ghost
I hear the Jewish leaders, they’re not satisfied
I see them guard the tomb to keep Him inside

Crucify Him
Crucify Him
Hear the crowd cry
Crucify Him
