Bio

Sitting in a bar in downtown Brooklyn back in the fall/winter of 2008, David L Griffin and Steve Palmer were pondering the next move in their respective music careers; after all, they had been around the world touring with cover bands and major label acts, but there was still something missing...

"Hey", thought Steve out loud, "why don't we just do what we want, in terms of creating music, and just put it out there?".  "As long is the music is good, well-crafted and produced, how can we go wrong?".

And the result is the premiere CD "Rare Find" that is full of experimental ideas and motifs, sparking curiosity [and the occasional "what the f#ck?"].  However, the CD speaks for itself as a tune from the CD was chosen for the TV reality series starring Ice-T and Coco, and the entire CD is on Pandora.

The sophomore CD is entitled "East To Egypt", a more down-to-earth work, but still containing a number of different styles, just selected for Pandora as of July 2017.  The creation of this CD was slightly different, in that they used additional musicians to complete the project.  Dave knew of an outrageous saxophonist named Saxy Ric, who has his own “thang goin’ on”, and decided to use his soulful, heartfelt feel on the indescribable master Stevie Wonder’s tune “Too High”.  The remake has a more funky feel to it, and the saxophone work on this tune is amazing!  They then decided to incorporate Saxy Ric into their circle of must-haves, and he will be heard a lot more on upcoming tracks [Saxy Ric will retain his own identity, however, but is now an integral part of the GAIG family.  Listen for his upcoming CD soon!].

Their motto?  "Just make it good music, so citizens of the world can relax, or get excited, and dream on...".  Peace;-)
