We formed completely as a band in 2006 when we auditioned David Lee to be our singer. It was quite interesting watching him sing to Alice in Chain's "Man in the Box" but he sang it well.Once he joined the band it was not but two weeks later that we had a show.
On June 9, David Lee performed his first show with the band. After a quick, stressful memorization of the lyrics, David performed quite well and the response was far greater than we had expected. We continued to play shows at small venues, raising money for a quality recording. We had the Rush and Smashing Pumpkins influence running through our blood as we recorded: working hard for that unique sound.
The sound we have been striving for has been a mix of progressive tones of Rush with the emotional intensity that the Smashing Pumpkins give out in their music. Our style incorporates fast tempos with dramatic shifts in time signatures and beats per minute. Ultimately, our goal is to set ourselves apart from everyone else and to affect people's lives musically.
