Paraiso is a grunge/mung rock three-piece band from Staten Island, N.Y. formed in 2010 by vocalist Rick Vega, bassist Joe Scarsella, and drummer Pete Grancio. This greasy band crawled up from the mean streets of New York City and there's only one thing on their minds; to melt your face off with the smooth sounds of their three piece blues. Influenced by Smashing Pumpkins and Stone Temple Pilots, their sound shows hints of punk rock and alternative. Their last EP, "Vs. The State," released late 2014, with their first album scheduled to drop in the upcoming months. Paraiso is currently booking shows around the New York and New Jersey area, and they are recording their debut full-length album. They bring emotion, style, and energy to every crowd they play for.
