Bio
Parallax is a five piece band from Starkville, Mississippi. They blur the lines between funk, jazz, and disco while adding occasional improvisations to keep things interesting. They mainly write original tunes, but they have been known to throw in a few covers during their shows.
Parallax formed in January, 2012. The members include Brendan Edwards on keys and synths, Jon Hudgins on guitar, Hardage Lewis on drums, Chris Wallace on bass guitar, and Shane Mitchell on guitar and vocals.
They have many influences, however, the main ones are Incubus, Umphrey's McGee, Opeth, Particle, Moon Taxi, and Tea Leaf Green.
