Paranoia

Paranoia as a band feels that much of the music scene today totally lacks passion, true expression, and feeling. We write and play music to express, heal, create, and most of all, to have fun doing our greatest passion with each other. Its Paranoia’s goal to put all this back into today’s lacking scene.
Paranoia plays music ranging from Hard Rock/Post-Grunge, to Alternative/Pop, and their influences include bands ranging from Seether, Nirvana, and Alice in Chains, to Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles.
Paranoia formed in early 2007 with the emergence of two local bands in Warwick, NY. Long time friends Mike Linkens (Vox, Guitar) and Jimmy Boyce (Lead Guitar, Backing Vox) from the rock group Feedback tagged up with the Hodgson Brothers, Greg (Bass, Backing Vox) and John (Percussion) out of pop-rock band Submissed.
Practicing nonstop the first few months, Paranoia quickly created a large set of originals, as well as covers. With a lot of hard work, Paranoia recorded their EP at Dropface Studios, NY, as well as played a handful of shows before 3 members headed off to college in August. Every member has played countless local shows as well as at larger venues such as The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY. Now with 3 members upstate from Warwick, Paranoia will be playing gigs in the Binghamton area, Oneonta area, as well as through out Southern New York and New Jersey.
