Bio
Parashos Parachutes was formed in 2009 by J.J. Albrecht and Caleb Lampkin. They currently play as a three piece with Hunter Godfrey and D.J. Richardson both temporarily drumming. The goal from the beginning was to make a positive mark on today's music scene which is rapidly depleting due to the economy. They've realized the only way to bring back the scene is to reignite the passion for music. When asked about this, Albrecht responded, "We're doing this to affect people's lives in a positive way. If just showing love and kindness could save the music scene as a whole, that's more important than any music me or anyone else could create, because with no scene, there is no music." Since that time, they have shared the stage with bands such as Kevin Devine, Emery, The Almost and Pmtoday. Their debut EP, "The Strange and the Stranger" is set to debut at the beginning of March of 2011.
