Paravell was founded in early 2003 out of a desire to create music that would be meaningful, emotional, and enjoyable to listen to. Based in Orange County, the bands four members have fused an energetic rock sound with catchy melodies to create songs that are feel alive and powerful. Band such as Coldplay, U2, the Cure, and Sunny Day Real Estate are some of the great bands that have inspired the sound of Paravell.
Paravell has begun playing shows In the Orange County and Los Angeles areas. Some of the venues they have played recently include the El Rey, Plush, DiPiazza’s and Detroit Bar. Bands Paravell has been privileged to play with include, Bril (Previously Sixways), the Violet Burning, and Jayson Belts of the Red West.
With their five song E.P. recently finished, Paravell isn’t just sitting around. They are moving forward to finish their second project, due out in Spring 2005, while agressively pursuing live shows.
