From the inception of her music career, Paris Luna has crafted classy, subtle songs with shimmering melodies, heartwarming lyrics and timeless sounds. Over the course of 7 years, guitarist Michael Harris, drummer Kane Russell (formerly with Zac Brown Band for 5 years), Toby Marriott (The Strays) and Heather Russell (vocalist, pianist, acoustic guitarist and songwriter) known as Paris Luna, have found an exceptional formula to creatively fuse country and rock, producing a unique sound all of their own.

The band's signature sound is delighting both critics and fans alike. Paris Luna's first album “City Lights” was released early 2007. The album reached rapid success and has, to date, been signed to Discovery Channel for use in 187 countries 5 networks and also aired on over 30 television shows from networks like: E!, Lifetime, MTV, VH1 and Showtime.

The band has been ‘Road Warriors’ for many years playing over 285 shows a year in venues such as The Bitter End in New York, Ciceros in St. Louis, The Centerstage in Atlanta, South By Southwest Music Festival 2007 and again in 2011. At the Atlantis Music Festival in 2007, they were picked to be 1 of 20 bands from over 250 bands to be on its compilation and at the ESPN Pro Elite Bass Masters Tournament in 2011, they were picked to be featured as 1 of 16 bands to play over the course of the three day event.

Most recently, Paris Luna was nominated for the 2011 GA Music Awards Best Rock Female category and the band and hit song “Tell Me Why” has been featured on 94.9 The Bull Atlanta’s Backyard Country multiple times and is quickly becoming a favorite of Backyard Country! They were also had the honor to play at the Atlanta Braves game on September 3, 2011.

Paris Luna is currently in publishing negotiations in Nashville regarding a large slate of television show placements as well as in preparation for production of their new album to drop Spring of 2012. They are also in works of an apparel line and product line!

Paris Luna is also an advocate for children and has played at Children's Hospitals through “500 Songs for Kids” and multiple camps associated with the hospitals. They are working on a partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta as well as other charity organizations to help make a difference in a better tomorrow.

Paris Luna has had the pleasure to share the stage with top name acts Rusted Root, Devon Allman, Zach Brown (Dixie Tavern Days) and Chris Gibbs from Modern English.
