Parissia

Parissia is a recording artist, singer-songwriter, rapper and record producer from Boston, Massachusetts. As a self-proclaimed “90’s revivalist,” Parissia fuses popular techniques from the era with a futuristic edge. Moving away from traditional Hip Hop, she combines genres of R&B, Trapsoul, Dance/Electronic, and Rock to create an eclectic sound. Her main influences include the likes of Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Aaliyah, and Sade, to name a few.

In 2016, Parissia released her EP "The Blue." She recorded at Silent Sound Studios in Atlanta, GA alongside acclaimed producer WLPWR who has produced for the likes of Eminem, Yelawolf, Big KRIT, Trinidad James, Wiz Kahlifa, Tech N9ne, Travis Barker, just to name a few. Parissia’s new project features performances from Ryan Kilgore, saxophone player for the legendary Stevie Wonder, and Lance Fury, trumpet player for Janelle Monae. 

Parissia has gained some notable attention on the Boston scene. She has most recently performed on the talent-trodden stages of The Middle East in Cambridge, MA. and The Hard Rock Cafe in Boston, MA. opening for hip hop legends Slum Village, Guilty Simpson, Black Milk and Nappy Roots. She is currently working with acclaimed Boston-based producer The Arcitype, known for his work with hip-hop heavyweights such as Action Bronson, Sean Price, Edo G, Slaine, Termanology and many more. Her three newest singles are featuring notorious battle rapper, Chilla Jones.
