Bio
Wiry guitar, bouncy bass and punk rock drums fronted by a choir of two – we produce tightly composed songs that are both hooky and danceable. We have just released (April, 2016) our second EP, Bright Red. Not pop but pop, not punk but punk.
Via straight-laced, reverb-devoid production with vacuum experiment tendencies, these sounds live in the space between Strokes guitar and sing-song harmonies of a more classically punk/new wave vibe. The Parks provide beautifully simple personal songs, combined with steady shuffle beats and stringed downstrokes...Tasteful and fulfilling, especially the dual vocal layering.
