Bio
"Park the Sky" is the brain child of 2 members from "Aimie Page Band".. Steve and Aimie have been playing together for almost 3 years in a few bands and decided they wanted to branch off and move in a new direction creatively. During the writing process they played around with different rhythms, interesting instrumental "colouring" and haunting melodies/harmonies... Their music is influenced by their love and exposure to the genres of Jazz, Blues, Country, Soul and Funk. Park The Sky has been primarily an Acoustic Duo and the "live off the floor" recordings recently done at Burning Sound Studios in Niagara Falls will reflect that. However, as multi-instrumentalists, Steve and Aimie are beginning to write music that incorporates more than just 2 acoustic guitars and voice. After what hopes to be a busy spring/summer of gigging they intend to hit the studio late summer/early fall to record their Debut full-length CD! Stay Tuned!
