Partners In Praise

Partners in Praise is the vision of the late Minister Ricky Womack. This group was founded in 1996 after Minister Womack was diagnosed with colon cancer. They released their inaugural CD entitled “Be Patient” on the Aleho International label. In April of 2003 Minister Womack succumbed to cancer and shortly thereafter the group dissembled. It was not until November of 2005 that Ricky Womack, Jr. heard and accepted the challenge to pick up where his father let off and hence reformed the group Partners in Praise. Under the leadership of this young man who was mentored by his late father, the future is looking much brighter instead of bleak because they are looking to record their first project independently in mid to late fall of this year. Although Ricky Womack, Sr. is no longer here his legacy lives on in the music that God has richly blessed his son to compose and as anyone who has experienced them live both in the past and currently can proclaim these singers are truly powerful and anointed. The majority of the singers glean from the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas metroplex bringing their own wealth of talent and gospel music experience with them.
