Formed in February 2011, PARTYinPARIS are a four piece band from Northampton consisting of Jack Betts (Guitar+Vox) and Alex Stocker (Guitar) Sean Gardner (Drums) and Graham Clark (Bass). Taking influences from the likes of Biffy Clyro,, Arctic Monkeys, We Are Scientists, Twin Atlantic, Foo Fighters and more, PARTYinPARIS combine quirky solo riffs, catchy chord progressions and mind hooking lyrics to produce a unique sound.
Leaving behind previous band UK77, Alex and Sean went their separate ways pursuing other musical projects, one of which was alex's new band 'Rebel City Radio',who are punk band based in Birmingham in which alex played bass guitar. Alex went on to record and album with Rebel City Radio but felt once again, his time on the punk scene was drawing to a close and departed the band.
After leaving Rebel... City Radio, Alex and best friend Jack began writing and giging acoustically under the name ...She said, We said? After a few small gigs they enlisted the help of Sean (of Never So True/UK77) to play drums and quickly decided they needed a bass player to which a friend of a friend of a friend Graham kindly and unbelievably luckily stepped up. The twosome of ...She said, We said? evolved at a rate even fans could not keep up with, growing from 2 to 4 members in a matter of days, ...She said, we said? died and PARTY IN PARIS! was born.
