Bio
Parvaaz is a Bangalore-based blues/psychedelic rock band.It comprises of Khalid Ahmed(vocals,guitars,song writer),Kashif Iqbal(lead guitar,vocals,various instruments,lyrics) ,Neil Simon(bass) and Sachin Banandur(drums & percussion).
The band was formed in early 2010 by Kashif,Khalid and Neil.After a different initial lineup the band finally went four piece when Sachin Banandur joined in November 2010.
The band came into prominence after playing at The Great Indian October Fest and then The Fireflies Festival Of Music held in Febuary 2011 at Bangalore.
The band is currently working on their debut L.P.The band mostly writes in Urdu and Kashmiri.
