"Parvati Review"

Being a female producer is rare in the music industry, and people are not able to comprehend that she arranged the music, played the instruments and created the beats herself. “People don’t believe I have created the work,” she says, “They can get their head around me singing. They can get that I write songs.”

According to her, it is a general assumption that women do not normally engineer and producer their own work. “Then again, the word ‘producer’ can mean various things these days,” she says, referring to other female producers and how much they are involved in production and receiving credit for their contributions. However, she has one piece of advice for any woman who wishes to become a music producer: “DO IT. And don’t believe anyone who says you can’t.” - Woman Can Do Anything
