PA$O

"I plan to let the whole world know there's a new artist coming up in the game."

Creative. Driven. Multi-Talented. Humble. These are only some of the words used to describe Brooklyn's newest indomitable powerhouse MC, Pa$o. Ready to tell his story to the world, Pa$o's set to breathe new life into the game with his highly anticipated debut album Survive or Suffer: The J. Glover Story, Vol. 1. With a refreshing glimpse into his soul, Pa$o delivers his message straight, no chaser, and gives the streets what its been desperately missing.

Born and raised in Brooklyn's gritty Brownsville section, Pa$o developed his love for music at an early age, however, it wasn't until his teen years that Pa$o truly realized that rap was his calling. At age 19 Pa$o became a featured artist on the Brooklyn Community Access Television (BCAT) program Brownzville T.V. A regular on the program for three years, Pa$o continued to refine his craft on the show and continuously kept the streets buzzing with his captivating, no holds-barred lyrics on heavy rotation on Brownzville Radio. After the show went off the air, Pa$o kept his stronghold on the streets and his presence felt by proving his talent at various local hip hop open mic and artist showcases and performing at fashion shows and faculty functions at New York City's Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). In addition, he hit the streets with the double threat mixtapes Independent Pa$o, Vol.1 and Sixteen 16'S. Pa$o's undeniable skill has garnered so much attention that he was featured in BMCC's Hip-Not Generation magazine in 2005 for having a 'Mean 16' and Don Diva magazine's 4th Anniversary issue.

With what seems like a lifetime's worth of experience under his belt, Pa$o is preparing to drop his debut Survive or Suffer: The J. Glover Story, Vol. 1, which draws inspiration from the subject he knows the most about, his life. "My influence came from everyday life. But listening to artists such as Nas, The Notorious B.I.G, Jay-Z and others who spoke of situations similar to what I was going through, showed me different ways of approaching music and helped me to perfect my craft." Survive or Suffer is the autobiography of a man, who like many, was raised on the streets and learned the harsh lessons of its daily reality. Full of menacing beats and heavy bass drops, Survive or Suffer: The J. Glover Story, Vol. 1 is one for the ages, and leaves an indelible mark that will forever alter the world of music as we know it. "The streets slept on Ready to Die, they slept on Reasonable Doubt……Don't sleep on Survive or Suffer!"
