Paspalum

Folk Rock, Acoustic, etc., doesn't really describe what Paspalum do. We are a conglomeration of three separate and very different musical histories, with a chemistry (cliche!) that somehow works. One moment we might sound like an electric jug band, the next an acoustic rock outfit, and just as suddenly urban Australiana. It's not our role to classifiy ourselves - some PR mob will have to do the categorising. We just write and play what feels right, and at this early stage in the development of Paspalum, there are very few parameters that we feel we need to write and perform within. The band's identity is still developing (even though the individual members have been performing on this planet for no short time!) We like to call what we do 'Sticky Grass Music'.
